Roast dinners are certainly not complete without a yummy Yorkshire pudding. They really are a staple when it comes to cooking up a family roast.
Whether you are cooking up lamb, beef, chicken or pork be sure that you add a Yorkshire pudding to the menu. Easy to cook and using little ingredients.
They are best served straight from the oven onto the dinner table. Timing is quite key and personally I make sure that everything else is on the table before I serve these little gems up.
Whether cooking for guest or family, they will be grateful for these.
Enjoy the recipe.
Yummy Yorkshire Puddings
No roast dinner is complete without a Yorkshire pudding. Whilst you can buy them pre made in the shop, nothing really beats making them from scratch.
Ingredients
- 120 G Plain Flour
- 3 Large Free Range Eggs
- Vegetable Oil
- 175 ml Whole Milk
- 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
Instructions
-
Beat the eggs in a mixing bowl with a whisk
-
Sift the flower and salt together
-
Gradually add the egg to the mixture until it is a smooth batter
-
Add the milk gradually and whisk into the batter. Once mixed, allow to stand whilst you heat the over to 200C. Add 2 tsps of vegetable oil to each compartment before putting in the oven
-
Once the tray has heated and the oil is hot, stir the batter and add an equal amount to each of the hole of the tray. Transfer back to the oven whilst still hot and let them cook
-
Ideally, you want to cook for 20 minutes or until the Yorkshire puddings are golden brown.
-
Transfer to the plates straight away and enjoy!
