A delicious yet simply spaghetti meal to cook for the family or guests. Using only a few ingredients and served to the table in less than 30 minutes.
Preheat the over to 200C. Put the tomatoes and the garlic into a roasting tin, cover with a good glug of olive oil and season.
Shake the tray to mix the ingredients and put in the oven for around 15 minutes
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in salted water. This normally takes around 12 minutes
Once cooked, drain the spaghetti. In the saucepan, add the basil leaves, Parmigiano Reggiano and the tomatoes from the oven - including the oil in the tray. If you are a fan of garlic, add this in too
Toss together with the spaghetti for a few minutes before serving
Sprinkle some Parmigiano Reggiano over the top for additional flavour
If you are a lover of spice, you can also add some freshly chopped chilli to the saucepan when you mix all of the ingredients together - Step 3.
In terms of the spaghetti, we recommend that you use Bucatini as it is thicker and more flavoursome than the traditional packet spaghetti. That said, we have made this with normal spaghetti as Bucatini can be difficult to source. Both are delicious.
